Easter Baskets for the Family

Remember the excitement you had when you discovered your Easter basket. The Easter basket, filled with goodies and treats just for you. I know that some families would do things differently. Some people wake up and find the basket at the foot of their bed or on the table in the family room. My family (or as I recall the Easter Bunny) would hide my Easter basket. Of course, no place was off limits to where it could be and sometimes it would be in the oddest of places. The older I got the more challenging the search, but greater the reward. Luckily with age, came better gifts; in the place of that little plastic toy I would find earrings. The style of goodies became more specialized, from yellow peeps to my favorite coffee blend. My mother always makes Easter such a wonderful celebration of treats and family.

Motivated by my mother’s love of the holiday, my siblings and I would all contribute to one grand Easter basket for her. With all the natural gifts available from Good Gifts Naturally; we are having some debates on what to choose. Being a family of six children, each child contributes one item. The problem we are having is that some of us want to get a pre-made baskets like the Energize! Lemon Sage Shower Basket. True it would be perfect for my mother, but I want the basket to have more variety. Plus, we'd like to throw a little something in there for Dad too.

I was thinking more of doing: a set of the Tree-Free Handmade Stationery, some Ten Bean soup, Organic Fair Trade Pomegranate Body Care Gift Kit, and putting everything in the Dark Western Shaped Chocolate Mini Tote – which is a win-win for both parents. Without any doubts, I am going to include the Handcarved Raindrop Coal Pendant because my mother is always complimenting my Sun Design Pendant. And of course a bag of Dad’s favorite coffee: Bolivia Caranavi. So my custom basket includes something fun (Tree-Free paper), something tasty (Ten Bean soup), something sweet (dark chocolate), something self-indulgent (body care kit), something stylish (the tear drop pendant), and then something for Dad (coffee).

In retrospect, I am thinking maybe we are not giving quite enough attention to Dad. Perhaps well will just have to do a pre-made basket for each of them; for mom the Ladies’ Gift Basket and dad the Good Morning Gift Bag. Decisions. . .decisions, why does Good Gifts Naturally have so many selections.

Thankfully, I still have a day or two to decide.
