This lightweight scarf is woven on a footloom up in the Nahuala region of Guatemala. The rich colors and light
weight are perfect for any time of year. This scarf is a deep red softened by blue and measures 66 inches excluding fringe by 14 inches wide, making it perfect for a shawl as well as a scarf.
Producer Profile
Maya Traditions works with more than 100 Maya women in five established groups in rural villages. Predominantly working with women who do backstrap weaving, an ancient traditional art which women can do at home while caring for their families. In addition, they work with a group of women crochet artisans, footloom weavers, and small family businesses.
